At the end of this training, you will be able to:
- Identify the main current uses of hydrogen in industry, such as refining, ammonia, and methanol production.
- Analyze emerging and potential uses of hydrogen, particularly in the field of mobility.
- Explain the different hydrogen production pathways, including conventional methods (SMR, gasification) and production by electrolysis.
- Compare various hydrogen production methods, evaluating their advantages and disadvantages.
- Describe hydrogen storage methods, both physical and chemical (compressed, liquid, hydrides, ammonia, methanol).
- Understand the principles of geological hydrogen storage and its applications.
- Explain the different hydrogen transport methods, including pipelines and maritime means.
This training was designed as part of the Symbio Hydrogen Academy, an initiative supported by the State and the Region as part of the IFPAI Action, the regional component of France 2030, operated by the Caisse des Dépôts (Banque des Territoires).
