A clear and comprehensive introduction to hydrogen propulsion technologies, focusing on fuel cell vehicles (FCEVs). Participants will be able to :
✅ Distinguish between various types of Fuel Cell powertrains and understand the fundamental principles of FCEV systems and their key components.
✅ Identify key components of Fuel Cell vehicles and design and sizing approaches tailored to various applications.
✅ Understand Fuel Cell control objectives and hybridization strategies, including their impact on performance.
✅ Describe sizing challenges for Symbio as a Fuel Cell manufacturer and analyze a powertrain sizing case study for a long-haul truck application.
✅ Explain hybridization strategies for Fuel Cell powertrains and compare architectures from existing FCEVs (e.g., Mirai, Nexo).
This training was designed as part of the Symbio Hydrogen Academy, an initiative supported by the State and the Region as part of the IFPAI Action, the regional component of France 2030, operated by the Caisse des Dépôts (Banque des Territoires).
